How much KI (potassium iodide) should I take?
ALSO SEE MORE INFO BELOW AND WHERE TO GET IT…..

The FDA has approved two different forms of KI—tablets and liquid—that people can take by mouth after a nuclear radiation emergency. Tablets come in two strengths, 130 milligram (mg) and 65 mg. The tablets are scored so they may be cut into smaller pieces for lower doses. Each milliliter (mL) of the oral liquid solution contains 65 mg of KI.

According to the FDA, the following doses are appropriate to take after internal contamination with (or likely internal contamination with) radioactive iodine:

– Adults should take 130 mg (one 130 mg tablet OR two 65 mg tablets OR two mL of solution).
– Women who are breastfeeding should take the adult dose of 130 mg.
– Children between 3 and 18 years of age should take 65 mg (one 65 mg tablet OR 1 mL of solution). Adult sized children (greater than or equal to 150 pounds) should take the full adult dose, regardless of their age.
– Infants and children between 1 month and 3 years of age should take 32 mg (½ of a 65 mg tablet OR ½ mL of solution). This dose is for both nursing and non-nursing infants and children.
– Newborns from birth to 1 month of age should be given 16 mg (¼ of a 65 mg tablet or ¼ mL of solution). This dose is for both nursing and non-nursing newborn infants.

Taking Organic Iodine and variations made from dulse and kelp will work too….or just kelp tablets…..the Potassium iodide can be very stomach upsetting…and should not be taken for very long. Kelp and the other forms can/should be taken daily…. FYI!

WHERE TO GET POTASSIUM IODIDE AND HOW TO MAKE IT IN LIQUID AND HOW TO TAKE IT

http://www.techcheminc.com/raw_chemicals.htm

100 g $18…they’re shipping tomorrow. It looks easy to make

From Cresson H. Kearny, the author of Nuclear War Survival Skills by Oak Ridge National Laboratory, states on page 114:

“To prepare a saturated solution of potassium iodide, fill a bottle about 60% full of crystalline or granular potassium iodide. (A 2-fluid-ounce bottle, made of dark glass and having a solid, non-metallic, screwcap top, is a good size for a family. About 2 ounces of crystalline or granular potassium iodide is needed to fill a 2-fluid-ounce bottle about 60% full.) Next, pour safe, room-temperature water into the bottle until it is about 90% full. Then close the bottle tightly and shake it vigorously for at least 2 minutes. Some of the solid potassium iodide should remain permanently undissolved at the bottom of the bottle; this is proof that the solution is saturated.

Experiments with a variety of ordinary household medicine droppers determined that 1 drop of a saturated solution of potassium iodide contains from 28 to 36 mg of potassium iodide.”

Two ounces of granulated Potassium Iodide (KI), mentioned above, is about 56.7 grams.

Also, from the above, an adult would be wanting four drops of the saturated solution as an expedient dosage. This would amount to between 112 to 144 mg of Potassium Iodide (KI) total.

Remember, 130 mg of KI is an adult daily dose and half that (65 mg) is a child (age 3-12) daily dose.

Less than saturated Potassium Iodide (KI) solutions, when properly mixed, should give even more accurate dosages because there is more solution overall to be measured out per dose.

For example, mixing and dissolving exactly 26 grams of Potassium Iodide USP into a one liter bottle of water, for example, produces 1000 ml of Potassium Iodide solution with a strength of 130 mg for each 5 ml of that Potassium Iodide (KI) solution. There are 200 of those 5 ml servings in that 1000 ml (1 liter). 5 ml can be easily and accurately measured out with a common graduated medicine dropper. 5 ml is also equal to one measuring teaspoon.

Hello dear friends and family
here is the other thing we should take… it was good prevention after the Chernobyl disaster
here is why I think it is time to take this nutrient again… please read, God bless.

How to reverse Radiation poisoning (and migraines)
As the author of the book The Doctor Who Cures Cancer I’ve sent out a newsletter to my readers which I’ve copied and posted below.

You might find it to be quite useful considering the news in recent days.

————————————————-
Would you like a solution to the increasing radiation dangers coming from Japan? And migraines? Then read on.

With the growing nuke disaster unfolding in Japan, already 160 people are known to be suffering from radiation exposure.

If any of the containment units explode, millions could be at real risk in Japan and worldwide.

For instance when Chernobyl blew up, radiation from it was subsequently detected in the US.

In other words, some cesium is coming to your neighborhood, regardless of denials from the nuclear industry.

I’m going to tell you how we can get medical aid to Japan and to make it available in the US and elsewhere.

But first, I’m going to ask you not to write back to me asking me to contact the appropriate authorities.

I don’t know any, so that approach would be entirely ineffective.

The correct approach is for you to send this to all your email buddies, and to use the “share” function on FaceBook along with the other social media websites.

When you do that, sooner or later this newsletter will fall into the right hands.

As you may know, I’m the author of The Doctor Who Cures Cancer.

In case you don’t, it is a book about Emanuel Revici, M.D.

Dr. Revici used a combination therapy that reversed radiation burns. Here are two examples:

“Skin burns which had not healed in months or even years responded well….

“A recent case of radiation… with total incapacity to drink even water was enabled to eat meat following 24-hour treatment.”

Dr. Revici was recruited by the US Navy to work for them when they became aware of his work in his area.

The combination is glycerol, also known as glycerin/glycerine, and n-butanol.

Glyerin is easily available from Swanson Health Products. The glycerine they sell can be taken internally.

N-Butanol is also called n-butyl alcohol.

One needs to make sure that the butanol is “N-Butanol” or n-butyl alcohol and not some other form of butanol of which there are many.

A 3% solution in 2-ounce grape juice is what I would use, along with a second 4 ounces of untreated grape juice as a palate clearing chaser.

I’d also take a 3% solution of the glycerin/glycerol/glycerine.

I’d take the combo every two hours if I had radiation sickness until it cleared up. I would not take it preventively!

N-butanol/n-butyl alcohol can be ordered from [link to wardsci.com]

{GLP edit: I’ve just been told that the company will only sell to labs and schools. You might Google ” buy n-butanol” to find a supplier who will sell to you. Please let us know if you are successful.}

The US Material Safety Data Sheet for N-butanol/n-butyl alcohol warns that it should not be swallowed at all.

Meanwhile, I know a European pharmacist who has treated over 1,000 cases of migraine headaches taken internally with only positive effects. (The worst migraine goes away in three minutes.)

I also took n-butanol before and after my 7-hour back surgery. The result was that I did not need to take any pain meds once I got home and very little while I was hospitalized.

Remember, they ground down spinal bone and used a 12-inch incision.

Last week I bumped into the surgical assistant. He told me that he and the surgeon still talk about my needing no pain meds!

So you can see, it’s critically important that this newsletter be forwarded. You won’t find this lifesaving news from anyone else. Even my neurosurgeon still doesn’t know.

This newsletter is the ONLY place where this healing news exists.

If you want to help the Japanese people, this is a way that can really make a
difference.

Many Japanese people speak English. So this newsletter can get to the very people who need it the most right now!

Let me stress this point: you don’t need to know a single person in Japan. You
just need to do your part.

If you do your part, this vital news will reach the people who need it.

If you don’t, it won’t! It’s life or death here.

Click on your forward button and do your part.

The best to you,
